Madalyn Mitchell grew up in the family of a Naval officer, and moving is in her blood! She attended 14 different schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, finally graduating from Coronado High School and San Diego State University. In these years, she was known as Marilyn Jeanne Mitchell. Shortly after college, she lived and traveled in Europe for 4 years, enjoying extended periods of time on the island of Ibiza, and in Wiesbaden, Germany. She still counts the friends she made there as some of her closest and best. The San Francisco Bay Area was her destination of choice when she returned to the U. S., and she soon began a 17 year career at Charles Schwab and Co., beginning at an entry level position, and leaving as a Vice President. During the latter part of her years there, she continued her moving ways when she ran the Schwab branch in Boston, and served in regional management positions in Chicago, Indianapolis, and San Francisco. She settled in Montclair in the Oakland Hills upon her return to the Bay Area After retiring from Schwab, Madalyn started her own Staging company, Creative Staging and Design, where she worked with Realtors and homeowners to create a simple, elegant look for homes that were about to be sold. As staging become an integral part of the sales process in the East Bay, Madalyn decided to switch gears, and she became a licensed Realtor. She is now able to use her staging and design experience to help her sellers decide what repairs and enhancements to make to their homes so they can achieve the highest price possible.
